stuck windage knob on M14/S

So I finally picked up that polytech M1A knock-off.. Yeah, I was warned they could be screwy. Bought the rifle anyhow as a "fixer upper" Flog me later, kay?

Anyhow.. I seem to have a locked windage adjustment knob. Found out how to adjust the elevation tension, but I'm flummoxed over how to get the windage knob to move. Is there a tweak I can do now, or do I just have to swap out the mess for USGI right off?

I can't help you. I bought a Springfiled-Armory and haven't had any problems. ha ha. (Consider that your Flogging :) ).

Try pulling out on the knob while turning it.
