Stressfire coined a brand new gun term today,,,

I purchased a Mens Concealed Carry Briefcase from www.guntotenmamas.com
I'm now packing my 9mm CZ-75B in it.

I posted about the briefcase in the Gear and Accessories forum,,,
I mentioned how some folk call these a man purse, or Murse.

Stressfire came back with this comment:

Never figured I'd see a CZ75 as a purse-gun, but...well...I have now.
Mouse guns, I have heard of as well, but a murse gun is a new one.

Good people,,,
I believe we have witnessed the birth of a brand new gun term.

I had to act before someone else did,,,

Just trying to make you famous,,,
And I'm still chuckling,,,
I'm easily amused.

Basically, you carry a bag of any type (except a lunch pail) to carry your stuff, it's a man purse and you have to turn in your man card.

They issue you cards, now? Is DHS is keeping track of you guys? The Tinfoil Hat Brigade is going to go nuts over this one. :D

Over here we call 'em a "moffiesakkie" which loosely translates to gay bag.

And yes, I carry one :-) Too small to fit anything bigger than a baby browning though.

And as you know, if you carry a 6.25 don't load it. If you load it, don't cock it. If you cock it, don't shoot it. Because you might just hit someone and they'll be very upset and then you'll hafta hit them over the head with the murse.

(Apologies Col Cooper :-)

I carry a bag to and from work, but it is only to hold my water bottle, ear bud headphones, my work papers & security badge. I do not put my gun in it. They say that thieves go for things like purses first because that is where the big money is. Now that tablet computers (iPads) are so popular I am sure more guys will be carrying murses and therefore theives will be going for murses first. I do not want to supply a criminal with my gun.

I will keep my murse, man card, and my speedo just in case they take my murse I'll have some where for my gun.

I'm afraid that if I ever carried some kind of bag over my shoulder, . . . it'll either have a laptop in it (and look very much like the laptop bag I already have), . . . or I'll put my boots & hat on, . . . go roll in the feed alley up in Dave's hourse barn, . . . and throw a pair of saddlebags over my shoulder.

I've just seen too many out there that needed a pink parasol and a doily hankderchief hanging out of the top of their belt, . . . and I am not going to be associated with THAT crowd.

May God bless,
Dwight

Ya hafta be secure in your masculinity,,,

Turn in your man card,,,
I'm chuckling at that one,,,
Here is the way I look at the situation.

I would think that a full size 9mm qualifies as a man card. ;)

A murse gun is one most people would say is too big/heavy for concealed carry.

Now I know there are thousands and thousands of people who conceal a CZ-75,,,
I consider it too dang big and heavy for easy concealment,,,
But, it fits inside the holster in my briefcase perfectly.

But that's neither here nor there.

I just thought the term Murse Gun had some possibilities.

For instance, my 6" 629 is (imho) way too big and bulky to carry concealed,,,
But I tried it out and it fits and rides inside my briefcase perfectly.

This is simply another topic for all of us to endlessly disagree on.

Executive Range Bag. Hmmmm, are you in advertising by any chance?

What is the time to first shot on target when drawing from concealment with the ERB?

These are the bags I carry around in life...

1. Garbage bag, when I take it to the trash.

2. Range bag when I take it to the range.

3. My wife's bag (purse) when she asks me to hold it for her while she does something. (Sigh)

4. The bags under my eyes.

5. The other bag, that... well... it's attached.

No murse for me.

The topic is the moniker "Murse Gun",,,

I thought it was appropriate as all get out,,,
As long as you don't confuse it with the moniker "Mouse Gun".

A Desert Eagle might also be considered a murse gun,,,
Several years back I made a high-ride holster for one of those bricks.

I saw the man try to carry it a few times,,,
It was obvious that it printed very badly.

Perhaps the Desert eagle is also a murse gun.
