straps or holster?

i asked on here about iwb carry of my 4 inch barrel service six, i have decided to try it and need one last help on it. i am on a tight budget so i try to save when i can, so here is my question. i already have a couple pancake holsters, should i buy the straps to turn them into a iwb holster?, or get a complete iwb holster? the straps are $15 where a holster is $25-$50, thanks for your help.
 
Go with the Alien Gear, you get a 30 day no questions asked return, you dont like it send it back. It looks big but it spreads the gun weight out and is super comfortable. Fell asleep wearing it on the couch the first night with a 4" double stack 9mm. Best advice stay away from the 2.0 version. Its a neoprene backed andthe reholster is slightly off from the original.

I own three and except for my shoulder rig i've dropped my box full of old/dont like/ wish I didnt buy, maybe I'll rebuild holsters off at the gun shop to add to his deal barrel. Lol
