Strange Dreams

I had a dream last night, in which I was carrying a .357 revolver of some sorts. Don't remember anything else about the dream, other than I had the revolver.

Huh. Looks like I'll have to buy one, now. Next month, hopefully. A good wheelgun won't set you back nearly so much as a self loader of comparable quality, fortunately.

Am I making excuses to buy guns? Naw, not me....:p

Careful......you may end up buying a whole bunch of them before you know it.

Dollarwise, I think you get more for your money with a revo.

We COULD get guys to post pics of their .357's...???....................................nah, we wouldn't want to do that.

I always end up seeing my next JHTH (just have to have) handgun.;)

Thing is, if you disclude new Smiths (which I do becasue, politics or no politics, the things seem to be RIDICULOUSLY overpriced), your choices for a full-sized wheelgun are limited to prettymuch Taurus, Ruger, or Dan Wesson.

These are all quality companies, mind you.

However, I've already done this research, and I'll probably go with the Ruger GP-100, in stainless, in either it's 4" or 6" configuration. (There's a 6" half underlug blue model in a local shop, but I prefer stainless.)

The 4" balances better, but the 6" gives you more muzzle velocity. (I'm talking about the 6" half underlug; the full underlug is muzzle heavy, in my opinion.)

After all, one should always strive to make one's dreams come true, yes? LOL

I had a dream one time that I was getting it on with the gal from the latest Zorro movie. You know Catherine Zeta-Jones. She was a hot pistol as well as I can remember the dream. I think your dream will a little easier to bring into reality.

You weren't talking about pictures of .357's like this, were you?

this is my Dan Wesson 15-2HV .357 Mag.

oops, the pic didn't post, dangit...

You know, I also like the Taurus Tracker. 7 shot, more compact, looks good.

But it isn't nearly as strong as the Ruger. I don't know if years of usage with the Taurus, using high powered .357 loads, would wear it out faster.
