Do any of you guys store 223 rounds on stripper clips ? How long can they be stored ? Will they turn green or anything from corrosion ?

Not .223 but 7.62. I've had rounds stored on stripper clips made of identical materials to those used for .223 for over 10 years with no problems. I've opened properly stored .303, which has a different stripper clip design, after 45 years with no issues.

Both since the early 70's, 7.62x51 match ammo and 30-06 Korean war surplus till I finally shot the 30-06 up 2 years ago. My brother has had 5.56 on clips in cardboard boxes since about 78 and some did get wet and turn green but they wiped off and shot through his mini-14 just fine. I'm still shooting them up trying to get rid of them since we have newer stock in sealed cans. I don't see why you think them being on stripper clips would make a bit of difference to their longevity.

If you have dry storage they will last forever on stripper clips. Every M 16 round I saw in the military came out of boxes on stripper clips.
