Store owner confronts BGs (So. Cal.)

Rialto, CA: [this seen on local TV News] May 20: in-store video camera showed an innocent young man bludgeoned from behind by a gangbanger;
(poor guy is near death). The Perp roams the store. The owner confronts
the Perp. The owner is holding handgun. Perp runs out of store. The victim was NOT in a gang...another "innocent bystander". :mad:

The News Anchor was fairly neutral, but the implication was, the store owner did the right thing. There was no reaction from local Law Enforcement. At least the store owner wasn't condemned for "taking the law into his hands."
 
Well, hey,

That's as good as it gets, here in the PRK. Sounds like straight reporting, which is almost unheard of around here.

Hope the young guy recovers. And I know the gun-carrying owner would have got into real trouble if he'd shot the BG while he was running away... but I sure wish he'd tried to bludgeon the owner & got his just desserts.

Oh well, I can dream, can't I?
