Reading the thread about storing handguns in their holsters jogged my memory about a question I've had for some time. what about storage in a kitchen brisker?

My wife has a kitchen brisker, which is basically a chrome steel box which is used to store potato chips, crackers and the like. It keeps them dry by means of a low power heater. But I keep wondering if it might be a good idea to get one just for guns. :)

What you're describing is nothing more than a small gunsafe with a golden rod dehumidifier in it.

A golden rod is nothing more than a low power heating element.

Chances are he knows how to use it.

Thank you. I'd not heard of a golden rod dehumidifier although I've kept a low wattage light bulb in my gunsafe for years.
