Stoeger Sxs vs. Savage 411

I know both of these are on the low end of sxs's, but which would you recommend as an inexpensive double to bang around in the woods? Are both made in Russia?
 
I found a Stevens 511 in 12ga for 125.00 in a used gun shop about a year back and took it to a smith I know in Carson City who shortened the barrels to 18.5 in and put the beed back on. Fun to shoot and good looking. The Savage is made in the USA.
 
who makes stoeger's? Well, I guess it is a moot point now as I bought the Stevens 411. It was $249.99 Brand new in the box! I think I got a steal!
 
just picked up the stevens last night and I am very impressed (especially considering what I paid for it). I am gonna shoot it this weekend, but am pretty darn happy so far with the purchase.
