I have a stoeger condor competition (paid 499 new) and it is a good field gun, but it doesn't fit and feel like my Browning Citori. Luckily I haven't experienced any problems with it like many many others have (fingers crossed). I got luck in that mine seems to have very high walnut stock and forearm (the wood on this thing is beautiful), but the metal is something you would expect from a lot cheaper gun. I would save my money if I were you and get a used citori or peerless ( got my citori like new from a local pawn shop for a third of what they go new).
