Why do you want it to open more? I only ever have to pull spent shells when I shoot up those very old duck loads and some of the brass cracks. Or is there not enough room to drop in 2 at a time for cowboy shootin?
I don't have a Stoeger (wish I did) but I honed the chambers so all it needs is a little shake and they are out.
My understanding is the Stoeger coach guns open plenty wide to shuck cases out and reload. The Stevens 311 sometimes won't open enough and can be modified. Does yours have a problem?
it opens enough to shuck the shells, but you have to be careful to open it up all the way,it gives only enough room to shuck shells,in cowboy action shooting time is very important.opening up just a bit more will help
