I wanted an inexpensive soft-sided case for our new Stoeger Double Defense 12 gauge SxS (my wife missed our old double trigger black and nickel 12g coach terribly!) and found that this case, 40", fits the 36" Double Defense very well:

I'm working on a covert case to tote a coachgun broken down. Square shaped, sleeved, with cord type handles, simple tie closure, made from some girlly looking material that does not scream gun.
