stoegar coach gun

I played around with one, felt like it would work for a while but it also felt like it was cheap and felt funky to me like it was made for a mutated half man half ape.

See what you think of it, judge it harshly because it is your money.

If you're into coach guns

you can't go wrong with Stoeger. It is the most popular shottie used in Cowboy Action Shooting and is the right price.

I had one and it was great but later traded up to one with exposed hammers just because it looks so cool

I have the Uplander and my wife uses the coach gun. We use them for Cowboy Action shooting 3 weeks a month.
We don't treat them carefully. In fact, we work the heck out of them. After 4 years, they function just fine, never had a problem.
Yes, they are plain, but just how much can you ask of a gun in this price range?

Here is mine. It is functional, sturdy, and reliable. There is not really much to it beyond that though.

I've been shooting the CAS game with my coach gun since 1990. I'm a gunsmith and have not done anything to this gun. It simply works well.

Playboy,
That is exceptionally nice wood. Is it an after market stock, did you just get lucky, or am I seeing good lighting in the photo?
No matter, it's nice looking.
