Restrored Python grips

Where did you get it done? I attempted to "freshen" the checkering on a pair of grips that were refinished--the checkering was nearly filled with Tru-oil or something--and screwed them up pretty good. Now I need a rescue!

I will withold my first thought because it was laced with expletives.

G Rated Translation: Gee wilakers, mister, those look awfully swell!!!

Thanks

The original Gen2 Colt stocks had the checkering raised above the grip surface.

Many people just sanded them smooth, (not thinking they'd be worth $200-$300 down the road).

These had so much wood removed, swamprat could only checker them into the wood like a Smith & Wesson.

But they work well and look pretty good, too.
