Stock P320 or M&P With Apex Internals

I'm just looking for people that have shot both and what they prefer. My EDC is a P320 carry and I've owned the M&P 9 and 40 and thought they were effortless to shoot (stock trigger wasn't as good as the P320's).

Like I said, I'm looking for opinions on people that have shot the 320 and an upgraded M&P to see if there's a reason to justify buying a used M&P 45 that's been "upgraded" our waiting a little longer to save up for a 320 in 45.

Why confuse yourself, get one of each.
You can always sell the one you like the least.
Don't depend on other people's opinions.
Most folks don't know their own minds, let alone yours. :)

Oh you people that make sense...

I guess I'm having a hard time because I got the go ahead from my CEO. This is such a rare thing I want to make sure I do the right thing off the bat because I'm not sure if the planets will align like this in this lifetime.

They are very close. I would say an M&P with complete Apex FSS kit AND Apex trigger will edge out the P320 trigger... but they are still pretty close. All of my M&P's get Apex kits. I just gave my dad my fully Apex'd M&P 9 with HD's, stippling, and trigger guard undercut. I intend to rebuild basically the exact same gun only in FDE.

The M&P 9 is definitely of my favorite guns... but so is the P320 Compact. I think you'll definitely be happy owning both of them.

While I haven't held the P320, I do like the MP45. It had a decent trigger (stock) and felt good in the hand. good manageable recoil and 14 round mags are available too.

After what little, and I do mean little, testing I recently got to do with a 320 compact, I'll keep my M&P thank you. No Apex parts, just a good buffing and it's trigger is everything the 320's is, only lighter and it hits where I point it.

All my groups with the 320 were 6 o'clock low and I think it was me having to pull the heavier trigger vs squeezing. Then again, my Chief Deputy was all over the paper with it, so there is an outside chance it was the gun.

Regardless, IMBE, the M&P is the better of the two.:eek::eek::eek:
