Alright so I successfully did all the milling work during the school season and am now in the process of shaping the stock. My bad on saying the wood was from the mill. It was actually from the supplier, so it was dried correctly and all that. I borrowed a barrel boring tool from a friend and I have gotten the receiver to be free floating, but I still need to do the barrel. I caught my index finger in a half inch endmill. I got in too much of a hurry, cost me 9 stitches and a broken finger tip bone (not to mention the possibility of losing the feeling in my fingertip for the rest of my life). I have rough cut the shape out. Now to do a ton of sanding and filing. I purchased a stock finishing kit from gander mountain. I am transferring the sling mounts and trigger guard from the old stock. I am going to buy a recoil pad once I get closer to final shape. Thank you everyone for all the tips and help.
