Stock Finishing and Touch Up

My Remington 1187 Premier has a few dents and dings in the gloss walnut stock. I understand the dents and dings can be raised using a heating iron with damp cloth. Once that is done how does one touch up the color and gloss finish, blending in the touch ups to match the color and gloss finish? Thanks, Dave in NJ

Arrow's wood finish

I use this product myself with a little 400 grit sandpaper. I rub the finish dry with the paper and it will help level out the finish as well as shine it up for you. I use this stuff to repair as well as finish a raw stock as well.

Stock Finishing and Touch Up With Arrow's

Cool, I will try Arrow's on the blems and will post the results. Thanks, Dave in NJ

simply follow their instructions

I won't go into all of the details, but if you simply follow their directions, you will fix the bad spots.
