Sting targets gun shows,

Potential Arsenals and Munition Rooms...

I guess I'd rate not the flashbang but the WP thru the bedroom window because my house could fit that discription.

Must be a coincidence, right?

Gosh, so many stories on the same day. Ya don't suppose the BATF wants to encourage state and federal "GuhShow Luphole" legislation, do ya?

You will not in the above article that I am quoted, at least partially. I also told the reporter, who called my late Friday night to meet his deadline for the Sunday paper, that there was no criminological study which shows any of these laws reduce crime. My rhetorical question was, "Then what is the reason for all these grandpas being targeted by BATF?

Rick

Now let me see If I have this straight?. They did some under cover work?. seized more than 1,500 guns and we are led to believe that the current laws are not adequate? If the laws are not adequate then how were they legally able to seize the 1,500 guns?

I can't even copy/paste from their crumby page, but I liked the part about "arsenals and munitions rooms." A lot of us have those by their definitions. I'm sure you see the bed full of junk they call an arsenal on the TV.

It got me thinking. Does much illegal stuff go on? I go to shows infrequently here in DE, which is very near Philly. All I see look like a bunch of low key, typical shooters. Casual attire, and even =I= put on my "good" jeans. Anybody see any obviously unsavory types? Any gang bangers? I'll bet the shows are self policing.

Im going to be annoying and say again
if thats what the BATF wants theyll get no flack
from the NRA about it.They have supported making private
transfers federal knolledge on a state and federal level
befor.
We heard complete lies from the media and Clinton on how the NRA opposed the closing of the 'gunshow loophole'
the fact is they have no problem with it they only want it done in 24 hours so gunshows will stay open and their
many endowement members will be able to keep using shows to sign up new members or in other words
so the NRA wont lose any money.
When the NRA fights I support them I was one of many that wrote USA today defending them when they werer attacked
for saying that Clinton required a certain amount of violence.
In fact I was saying it was about time they put him in his place..
But when they so deceitfully betray their members by collaborating with the anti-gunners so as to appease the liberal media Im not going to sit for it.
Ive bought a nice .357 mag lever action and a beretta 12 guague autoloader through that terrible 'gunshow loophole'
theyll both probaly spend more time in my guncabinet than out.
Whats next drug sales by criminals will drop down if all
sales go through a government check.Im getting really sick of how many citizens go along with the feds teaching that we must pay with yet more restrictions for every crime or possible 'illegal purchase'.Even when they catch criminal no matter what theyve done they slap them on the wrist so I really dont care what BS restrictions or checks they claim will save lives.
The last thing on these peoples' minds is saving lives they only want more power and control and the easiest way theyve found for doing that is by eroding our rights and freedoms
even the former freedom of privacy.

The problem is (beyond privacy rights violations) is that some state antis want to make private sales a felony (even in Arizona).

This is a full-court press. Well coordinated, don't ya think?

Rick

That means you scare the bejesus out of the local ATF
or swat team who want to have an easy time if ever sent in
to 'secure' the area.
Boohoo!

400 sq foot bunker under the house?Back in MN we called them basements.
Quote from the paper by a fed.We watched a felon buy a firearm and little bit later watched another buy one.Excuse me nothing said about arresting either of them. I question this?
Anybody see anything wrong with the gun handling of the fed with the uzi?Who is he going to shoot with his finger on the trigger.

Operation Dutchboy!!!!!!! If the Government wants to stick their overly BIG thumb in the leaky dike maybe they should stop letting rapists and murderers back out into society and leave us the law abidding alone. Hey here's a novel idea, maybe if these violent losers weren't let back out into society maybe we wouldn't have to worry about them obtaining guns, hmmmmm.Beemerb, it's only fitting that those who want to take something away from us don't really know anything about that which the wish to take away and the proper handeling of it. Boo Hoo is right Ruger45. I would really hate to make life difficult for the ATF should they ever decide to pay me a 'visit' I mean a REAL shame.
