Still waiting for my Glock but this makes me feel better

Well, I am still waiting for my Glock. That's the bad news. The good news is that I just got a pretty cool email from Nick at BuyersClub:

"Hi Don,

We are still waiting for your pistol to arrive This is our first time dealing with Glock themselves as we have just opened the account about three weeks ago and I did not realize how long it takes for them to fill an order.

They are suppose to send me the serial number for your G-17 and have not yet so sounds like it still has not shipped but I am trying to get a date out of them now.

For the unnecessary anxiety that I am sure this is causing I am going to send you two Factory Hi-cap mags when we get them in for you having to wait so long.

Hang tight and thanks for being more than patient.

TTYL

Nick"

So I feel a lot better--at least they're still in contact with me, and I never expected to get two full-cap mags in exchange for my time. I haven't complained and you guys have probably seen me say that for a $35 Glock I haven't been waiting that long, but Nick is taking it on himself to offer the mags anyway and I'm not going to refuse. :D Seems like Nick and BCA will go far on such an attitude. Just thought I'd let y'all know what I thought of them.

Keep us posted on this. I've sent in for a few of the BCA raffles myself, so it's good to know what really happens. (BTW, that was supposed to be my Glock, you creep! ;) )

Mk86--sorry about that, but I deserve it. You have no idea how much work it is to fix a raffle that's being drawn 2000 miles away . . . . and you can have the HK or the Sig--I have graciously decided to allow someone else to win those. :D

No, you're not sorry (and I don't blame you), but it was nice of you to say it... :D
