Still Shooting The Old Model 15 Springfield .22

Model 15 - Single shot - bolt action - manual cocking. Old as the hills; but still as accurate as ever. One of the most accurate ( iron sights ) .22 calibers I own. I use the .22 sub sonics for the tree rats, that continually chew up my white cedar weatherboards. Quiet as an air rifle.

Why not!

My personal observation (having grown up with one on my bedroom wall),,,
If that old rifle was well cared for and still has a good bore,,,
It will shoot alongside any modern made rifle.

There's absolutely no reason not to be "still shooting" that old gun.

On old guns, I shoot 100 year old rifles and they do just fine.

22s do not wear out, the actions may fail eventfully and parts an issue.
