    2. Copyright law provides for “fair use” of portions of a copyrighted work. You can copy no more than a SINGLE paragraph from the article to your post (3 or 4 sentences at most).

    3. You must provide a link to the article along with the name of website. For example: ww.xxx.yyy/zzz (The Lower Thumbsuck Daily News).

    4. You must provide, in your own words, a brief summary of the article AND your reasons for believing it will be of interest to TFL members. Failure to do so may result in the thread being closed or your post being deleted as a “cut and paste drive by.”

    5. Photographs and other images are also copyrighted. "Hotlinking" of images (so that it appears in your message) from other sites is also prohibited unless you own rights to the image. If you wish to share an image, provide a clickable link to it.

Posts that do not follow these new guidelines will be altered or deleted by staff. Members who continue to violate this policy may lose their posting privileges at TFL.

Still looking for fishing forum as good as TFL

Thanks to The Blues Man. I tried the Google route, found several fishing forums, but nothing to compare to TFL because the latest posts were 3wks old and nobody active for a long time. Surly there is a fishing forum that is as good and as active as TFL. Can anybody help?

Why would you assume there is any forum out there that is as good with its topic as TFL is with the firearms topic? It just might not exist. If your continuing search proves to be futile, why not start one yourself? I'm serious, you could use the same software as TFL, the same format, and most importantly the same philosophy.

Oh, and stop calling me surly. ;)

I think you don't see several blazing fishing forums because fishing is not under attack like gun ownership is. I am familiar with the radical lefts agenda to ban fishing, but you must admit it's not an agenda that's taken as seriously as that against guns.

Perhaps when fishing is the only thing left to ban, and they really go after that, then we'll see a flurry of fishing forum activity.

Sad, isn't it?

Forget the fishing forums

Forget the fishing forums. It seems that the only forum worthwile is TFL. It doesn't seem I can find the same camaraderie any place else. deanf, I think you are right, fishing will never generate the passion that guns do. Thank you much Mal H. and Mike Irwin for the response. Mal H., sorry, my wife is the only one I know that is "surly".
