I have 3 mags for my Ruger Mk1. One of them goes in tight--has to be pushed in snugly, though I don't have to whack the floorplate like the Glocks. It also sticks in the mag well, and pulling one out manually on a Mk1 is a PITA because there's so little exposed.
This is only a problem when the mag is loaded; the empty mag goes right in and drops right out, so I assumed it was somehow bulging slightly from the ammo--except that I tried it with the bolt locked back and it dropped pretty well again. Any thoughts? Does this really matter? I usually shoot each mag empty anyway (no tactical stuff.)
