is it advisable to cut a number of roll of magazine spring in my STI carry mag, to make me load 16 rounds of .40 ammo?
right now i can put in 15 rounds and according to their site it can accomodate 16.

It is not good to cut coil off the spring, you mit get your 16 rounds in, But when you only have 2 or 3 rounds in the magazine you may have feeding problems, because on low spring pressure,you can get spring kit and base plates for STI/SV magazine. look at www.arredondoaccesories.com/www.ismi-gunsprings.com
