STI LS40

[buzz_knox]

Anyone have any experience with this weapon? I'm looking for a new CCW piece. It's only .7" wide or so (perfect for IWB) and chambered for a nice round. It's SA but that's no real concern. I've carried a glock for years with no problems so cocked and locked doesn't bother me much.

HS: Buzz is discussing a completely different design. The SV in the ad is one of the full-size, double-stack modular frame pistols. On the other hand, the STI LS40 is roughly a Colt Defender-sized single stack. The design has been highly modified from the standard 1911-pattern to achieve the absolute minimum width feasible across the stocks and slide.
