In atlanta, today went to Candler Pawn. First this is a great shop! Knowledgable, helpful folks. I didn't know it even existed till I read about it on another post. Held the Steyr S and it is basically the size of the Glock 23. I was a little dissapointed. From the dimensions given it seem like it would be closer to the Glock 26, but no deal. Oh Well. Still is pretty nice. I am interested in the range reports when they come trickling in. I do like the idea of a safety.
 
Jump up on 285 toward stone mtn. past 78 exit a few miles, at Greenwood rd. exit R 3miles, turn L on Candler and its 3 blocks on your left.
 
Pete have you held the S side by side with G19? I don't know how they could both be the same size. That is- the M and S same size. The S is just like the 19 side by side thats all. On paper it looks different.

Glock 19: Length 6.9", Height 5.0", Width 1.18", Barrel 4"
