I have a Steyr Professional III, which is the predecessor of the current (SBS?) models. It, too, has the synthetic stock, removable magazine (wish it was metal, not plastic), and hammer-forged barrel. It has the Euro "butter knife" bolt handle, which I like. The new guns have a tang safety, and the camo model with matte stainless is trick looking.
Mine is all black... stock and matte/parkerized barrel, in .270Win. It also has the Euro-style double-set trigger, which you can "set" so that it breaks at about 1/2#, or shoot normally. Took some getting used to, but it works. The gun is VERY accurate when I do my part with shooting and handloads. I have gotten 3-shot, one hole groups measuring at just under 1/2" from the bench, and groups under 1" are no problem. In other words, it's plently accurate, especially for hunting.
I have no experience with the latest models, but I hear they are good, and they share many of the same features as mine. FWIW. Cheers.
