Steyr M9

Has anyone shot the 9mm M9. I am planning on getting one when they come out. I'd like to know any experiences or reactions to this pistol. I have held an M40 and liked it. Also, if one gets the M9 can that pistol be converted to the 40 cal. or does an entirely different gun need to be purchased.

The Steyr pistol was designed around the
.40S&W cartridge. Its not a 9mm thats been beefed up to handle the .40S&W (ala Glock etc...)

So converting the 9mm version to .40S&W
is probably possible. You'd need a new top-end. (slide, barrel, recoil spring)
