HI, does Steyr m9 pistol pass military or police tests in Austria or other country. I mean: mud , salt water, dust,dirt,heat, cold, over presure ammunition, accuracy... ?
I saw that Steyr m pistols have drilled hole on the upside of the chamber [triangle]. I know that chamber must be closed... And how about mounting sound supressor on barel.

Its my understanding that the Steyr M series pistols where built with Austrian police in mind (the guy who designed them is an Austrian police officer).

But I haven't read about them passing or failing any police or military trials.

I would figure, however, that anywhere you could use a Glock the Steyr would be right at home.
 
What about drilled hole on the upside of the chamber ?
And any info about sound supressors + Steyr m9?
Why Steyr m use Mec-Gar magazines...?

Chocho, many gun companies use Mecgar magazines. Basically, Mecgar is probably the Best magazine manufacturer out there. Why bother making magazines when another company can do it cheaper and better?
