Hello again...
The next pistol I am looking at purchasing is the Steyr M-40. I have a G27, but the full size Glocks just don't feel right to me, and the Steyr does. The only thing I don't like about it is the tirgger break - perhaps the range one I fired is an anomoly, but there is NO predictability to it. It seems like I squeeze the trigger, and instead of slowly moving back until it fires, it does nothing until the right amount of pressure is applied. When it does finally break, it snaps back and fires suddenly, sending my shot either left or up a bit. This ould also be inexperience on my part - the only other pistols I have fired extensively are my G27 and S&W 22A (Bought it and put 700 rounds through it yesterday and today).
Does anyone know if it is possible to have the trigger re-worked to be a bit more friendly?
