Steyer pistol will be available in .45

I think that this new m series looks really neat, and I was wondering if it would come in .45. I sent an e-mail to GSI. And received a response from Pete Yates. He said that there would be a .45 available late 2000/early 2001. It will be a little bit bigger than a Glock 23. Cool.

Is the pistol going to be single or double stack? Also, is this pistol available in 9mm?

Its supposed to be available now in 9mm and .40S&W, but I haven't seen any yet.

I also read this new pistol has a "counting" feature where a reader can be placed near the gun and actually extract data of shots fired and time stamps the shot. Anyone know how the data was recorded and kept inside the gun?
