I own an old Stevens Visible Loader (SVL) pump 22 rifle. It has been handed down in my family from my Grandfather to my Father to me (I am 69 years old). With my Dads supervision, in about 1948, it was the very first gun I ever fired. I would like to be able to pass it on to one of my sons in good working order. It currently is in need of repairs. I will need a few parts in order to make those repairs. If you own and old SVR parts gun or know where parts might be available please advise. All responses will be greatly appreciated. I haven't begun to figure out what parts I need for my Visible Loader, but once I do, I'd be glad to work something out if mine would help you. I bought one that was incomplete and then a second as a parts gun. My hope is to make one working gun from two, but two from three would be even better.

Bowes, The parts I need are as follows, The sleeve that the outer mag tube screws into (The sleeve is also the part with the round seat in the bottom for anchoring the front end of the swing out locking latch or arm), I also need one forearm screw, I need the retaining screw for the end of the pin that holds the barrel into the receiver. There are four small bolts or pins that go through the receiver, the front one is the barrel retaining pin, and the rear one is the very small trigger pivot pin. I need the bolt or screw that is the next one behind the barrel retaining pin. I could also probably use the outer mag tube. At this point those are the parts I think I am going to need. I may find out that there are others. I am in Tallahassee, so let me know when you know what parts you will have available. Thanks, for responding, Ron W
