I thought this was a piece of junk but cleaned it up anyway. Once I got it clean it looked interesting. I did not think it was some rare find so I refinished the stock and... I like it.
It looks a lot like my mauser 98. It has an interesting way to feed the shells.
I saw on another forum that these are hard to break down.

Anyone else working on one of these? It isn't marked. Just Stevens. Not sure how it shoots. The bullets don't feed straight so they disfigure a bit going in.
Really needs to be broken down and cleaned. I would like to side mount an old scope like a mauser sniper.
