A pause for the COZ

I have had this gun for a few years now. I have no idea how old it is.
Its chambered in 32L rim fire.
I was thinking about sleeving the barrel and re chambering to 22lr.
The gun is in nice shape, Bore is good. not real excited about tearing it up.
Well... Found a way to shoot this thing.
Using the Dixie Gun works brass. Basically you take a .310 round ball or a 32cal heeled bullet.
Fill it full of Black Powder. In my case I used a light load of Trail Boss.
Insert a 22cal blank in the off set hold and fire as normal.
Works good!! Took me a while to figure out how to seat a .310 od ball in a .285 id case.
Turn out a light tap with a wood mallet seats the bullet in the case lip and wont move unless you really try to pop it loose. Then filled the case from the bottom and installed the blank.
The Trail Boss load shoots well enough. Was able to hit a pop can on the manure pile any way.
Gona be a fun little gun.
