As you can see from my signature lines, I am a big fan of the band Steely Dan.
I noticed on their guestbook a guy posted the National Public Radio conversation between a female interviewer and Army General Reinwald regarding a visit by some Boy Scouts to an Army post. I believe the conversation was posted on this forum a while back.
I, of course, supported his posting of this item.

Wasnt that the one where the interviewer took exception to the fact that the kids were going to be taught markmanship, saying that "it was equipping them to be murderers" or words to that effect, and the General replied that she was equipped to be a prostitute...? What a GREAT comeback!! If I remember correctly, the interview ended at that point...

Just how good is their Two Against Nature CD?
Compare favorably to Countdown to Esctasy or Aja?
I'm thinking about picking it up... :)

Wife is a big fan of Steely Dan.... went just last month to one of their concerts. Was nice, our neighbor had box seats in the VIP section.

No slur on tatters *or* Steely Dan, but that NPR interview is an urban legend. If you do a search on TFL, we discussed it a few months ago.

Any major dude will tell you...

Foxfire, 2vN doesn't compare to Countdown to Ecstasy or Aja. It's completely different. I like it, but...suffice to say that its current rotation on "soft jazz" stations is very appropriate.
 
I am a Dan Fan, especially from their early years (pre-Aja). I think the live version of "Pretzel Logic" is the most righteous of all their hits. Their song "With A Gun" sums up senseless violence and revenge. Anyone who has their staying power in the music biz, over several decades, is fabulous.
