I am compiling a database of modern pistols for reference when shopping for my next 8 pistols before the end of the year. You may see me posting a lot of questions in the coming weeks. I appreciate all input.
While flipping through a HK USP manual, I noticed it says the polymer frame is reinforced by steel inserts. Since the USP is the only polymer pistol I own now, I want to know what other pistols are built likewise. I think Glocks aren't steel reinforced because of their ultra-lightweight. What about the following models:
Beretta 9000S
CZ 100
HS 2000/Springfield Armory XD
Kahr P series
Sig Pro
Steyr M series
Walther P99
