Can anybody recommend a shot shell load for 2 3/4" 12 gauge with #6 steel shot? I have some Hodgdon Universal Clays powder I'd like to use. That isn't an absolute requirement, but it is a strong preference. I have 1000 Winchester AA hulls I'd also like to use. I'm not looking to be a competitive skeet shooter. I just want to bust some clays on my property without turning it into a lead polluted hazardous waste dump site.
Also, any recommendations for a favorite primer with a covered flash hole?
Got a favorite online source for ordering shot shell reloading supplies? Many places like Midway don't want to mess with selling primers or powder because of the hazardous material shipping fee. Gamaliel sells powder and primers, but the hazardous shipping fee adds a lot to the price.
