Steel guide rod for CZ pistols?

You might try contacting CZ directly to see if they have any of the old-style steel rods in stock (www.cz-usa.com). Other than that you might consider going after market, but these tend to get expensive. Try www.midway.usa www.brownells.com

So many pistols, so little money.

Wolff makes a steel guide rod and recoil springs for the CZ 75/85. They are at www.gunsprings.com. The rod and springs are listed under a different make & model (TZ, I think, which is a "CZ clone").

I purchased the guide rod and three springs from them directly. The springs were less than, equal to, and greater than the listed factory value. However, since the guide rod is not full length, the low power spring doesn't sit very straight on it. I don't know if that is a problem, but I sounded funny to me.

Good luck.
