State Assault Weapons Ban?

I was reading an article at NRA-ILA about a proposed assult weapons ban in Maryland for 2006. Brought to the good folks by two democrats. I know in Minnesota the dem side is chomping at the bit to impose against our will a state wide and enhanced version of the Bill Marx Clinton gun ban. Is your state preparing to force another AWB?

Yes, they can. Mr. Bill Ruger himself is the one that came up with the concept of magazine capacity limits to keep his Mini-14 from being included as an AW along with the AR-15.
