Hello. I think that since it is used and Star pistols are no longer made or imported, you might get $300 for it since it has two original capacity magazines. Spare parts are a problem.
The 30M was an improved version of the Model 28. The 28 had the spring steel extractor that some say was prone to breakage while the 30M uses the external, pivoting extractor common to most semiauto handguns. The stocks are improved from the original 28's plastic ones that could break if not careful in removal while field stripping. If memory serves, the 30M's stocks are checkered rubber over a steel insert.
Internally, the gun seems similar to a CZ75, but I cannot say that for certain and the hammer assembly lifts out of the frame ala SIG P210 after pressing in a spring-loaded pin toward the bottom of the rear grip strap.
I own a couple of the M28s and have owned a 30M. None had their fixed sights even close on elevation; they hit way high for me, but would group pretty well.
