STAR DKL

I recently found this site and think its great. Anyway I recently bought a STAR DKL and will hopefully have my license in a week or two. I am looking for a jhp that will feed and hopefully expand. The DKL is very reliable with ball but can be very testy with jhp rounds.If I carried it as a primary weapon I would carry ball for the penetration but it is to be used as a backup to my 45 (colt series 70 GOLD CUP 230gr +P Ranger SXT) any help would be appreciated.

Hello, sir. You might try any of the high-performance rounds that have rounded ogives such as Federal Classic 90 gr JHP, or Remington's 102 gr Golden Saber. There are others as well. Good luck. I've had good experiences with most Star handguns I've owned. best.
