Stand Placement

I am looking for the proper positioning of my stand. I have a very straight, sturdy tree where I will put my stand, it is approximately 25 yards southwest of the bedding area. The deer will be coming from the North, but there is a substantial forrested area to the south, with another opening 30 yards directly south of me. There is also a ridge (50 yards North, running east-west for nearly the entirety of my Northern view) which is at the height I will be placing my stand. Should I place it facing south, southwest, southeast? Prevailing winds will likely be from the Northwest.

you need to be further away from the bedding area and you need to think more about the predominant wind and your thermals.
being that close to a bedding area and you could bust the deer out for good w/ one bad wind.
