Stainless Levers?

It seems that I have heard of one or two stainless steel lever action rifles existing, but they always seem to bein rifle cartridges when you find them. Unless some good deals come along, I will probably own one lever action rifle in my lifetime. I want it to be 357 Magnum. I am a sucker for a stainless steel finish. Does anyone make such an animal? I glanced at the Marlin website, but all I found was 30/30 in stainless.

If you want it to last a lifetime, any material will do.

If you want it to last a lifetime of shootin, I'd recommend against stainless. If you like the color....get a real steel one nickle plated.

Rossi made stainless steel lever guns in all caliber's a few years back. Since then, Taurus purchased Rossi, kept the Rossi tooling and handguns and made some sort of deal with Navy Arms who now imports the rifles. Gun is also showing up in a line called Puma.
