Stag Arms muzzle brake

Anyone know the easiest way to unpin the muzzle brake on the stag without the aid of a gunsmith? I'm looking to change it out but due to the laws here in CT, I still need to pin the new one as well.

Usually if they are pinned they are welded as well. I don't imagine it would be really easy to remove with out possibly damaging the threads. In any case I would definitely let a professional gun smith do it, before you mess things up and end up having to buy a whole new barrel.

Mill the welds off to gain access to the pins, remove the two pins and unscrew.

No welds and only one pin flush with muzzle brake. Wondering if the pin is pressed in?
