STAG arms model 1 info?

Purchased my stag model 3 for $735 very satisfied with the performance, overall quality good, accuracy excellent, life time warranty.:D

Had my Stag for 5 years now no problems,Except you cant keep bullets in it they just keep flyin out. Love mine but you can spend more if you wish.:D

Model 4L. I love mine. I plan on getting a 2TL here sometime soon.

Only malfunction I've ever had was due to a dud round.

I have a model 1 I bought last year at a gun show. I bought a riser mount and used medium warne rings. I tried two Simmons scopes and a barska tactical. The best group I could get at 100 yards was 6". I now have the barska on my savage edge bolt action and can clover leaf my rounds. I was shooting the stag from a benchrest on bags and was very solid. I also had two other very proficient shooters try it just to make sure it wasn't me. I think It may have a bad barrel. It appeared to be new in box with no rounds fired through it.

All that being said I have never found anybody else that has had the same problem with their stag.

Superdave, if you are shooting the Remington 115 gr FMJ I would not be suprized at 5" groups. That ammo is very poor.
Tell us what you are shooting.

Paid $860 last year for mine. Frickin worth it! Any ammo be it steel case, laquered, brass, no prob. Change the muzzle brake tho. Rediculously loud!

Mine will shoot a consistent 2.5 @ 100 yards with commerical ammo, I can achieve some 1.00 inch groups (weaver 5-20x44 scope)and better with my reloads as the trigger wears in that will improve or I may install a match 2 stage trigger.
