Pioner Gun Club...... www.planetkc.com/pioneer

I'm about an hour and a half away, but if we can find a time I'm in. I actually live in Illinois, near Springfield.

Bogie, with everything I've got going on right now I don't know when I could make it to St. Louie. But you might want to pencil in the third weekend of August 2001 for EOSMII here in Springfield, MO. ;)

In the mean time if you ever get down this way you've got a place to stay and shoot.

I was promised a Shortycicle and I want a Shortycicle!

Bogie,
I live in St. Louis and as soon as I get my bathroom remodeling finished I would love to. Where do you shoot? I am a member of the Bull's Eye on Manchester by the Hill.

Lonnie

Lonnie, I'm usually found on the way out to Wright City, to the St. Louis Benchrest Club.

I'll be happy to drive. Gotta truck, etc., so carrying stuff is no problem. We can pull right up to where we shoot. We've got a fair handgun range, a nice 100 yard smallbore range, and one of the best main ranges (20 points to 600 yards, the rest to 200, all with concrete benches) in the country.

I used to be a member at Bullseye until some of the customers started making me distinctly nervous.

I can take in a guest or two... The gate stays locked, and each member ($120/year) is given a key.

If you're around on a weekend, they charge $25/day for benchrest matches to offset the plaques, etc., and pay for the guys who pull the targets and score 'em. Worth it.

Ron Hoehn's outfit is a few hundred yards from the gate, and is one heckuva toy store.

I'm a member of Bullseye and Arnold Rifle & Pistol. Unfortunately my weekends are somewhat full at the moment.

Hi,Bogie and other St.Louis/MO./Ill. shooters!I went out to Jay Henges formerly Forest 44 range today to check the zero on my deer rifle.Played hooky from work in order to beat the pre-deer season crowds. When I got there the place was full with about a 15 minute wait for a spot.A get together sounds great.

Well, if several folks want to get together and convoy out to Wright City, I can get us in - 200-300 yard range (actually 600, but I doubt if anyone is going to be blasting Bambi at that distance), and we could BBQ or whatever... Beer's okay, as long as the guns are packed and you're through shooting.
