St Charles, MO gun show

This is for our St Louis area folks.

Had some time today to go by the gun show at the St Charles Convention Center. 15 minutes before doors open at 1300, the line is out the door and down around the corner, with plenty of cars still rolling in.

Considering its Friday, a workday for most, looks like frenzy is in full gear. If I actually go inside, I'll let you know what I find.

10 minutes past doors open, line is still around the corner, probably 300 people waiting outside, not counting those in the hallway inside. If line doesn't start moving soon, I will probably give up.

Wow! From my car, I missed the end of the line stretching around the back end of the parking lot by the apartments! Closer to 600 waiting outside.

I figured on a Friday, midday, most folks at work, I could get in reasonably fast and have some breathing room. Not so much. I knew Sat and Sun would be a zoo. Oh well, I guess I'll find something else to do.

Wow. Glad I didn't bother going by. I ended up selling/trading my Saiga 12 to a buddy's gun shop (got P938 and cash) instead of going down to the show and trying it there.

Sometimes it isn't worth the hassle.

My oldest son and I went to the KC gun show (RK show) last Saturday probably got there about 11 a.m. Fairly long line but nothing like that, probably 75-100 in line. By the time we got halfway through there were alot of empty tables, people were buying everything they could find and prices were high
