SSP Question

I am hoping some of the IDPA readers here can give me some info on SSP.

I shoot a G19 and was considering the application of grip tape for my support hand on the forward part of the frame.

Legal?

Well, the rule says "skateboard tape may be used" and it doesn't say "only on the gun butt" so give it a try. If the MD doesn't like it you can peel it off.

After reading the rule book, thats what I was thinking too. I wanted to get a sanity check from others. Thanks for your input Jim.
