Square frame grips for RB Model 10

Hello to everyone,
This is my first post to this forum. I have a few questions about SB conversion grips for my RB Model 10.

I am looking for a set of grips without fingergrooves, with the same profile as SB grips. It seems that every set I find are finger grooved. I dont like finger grooves. I am looking for these grips in either wood or rubber, I kinda like the more classic looking type grips.

I've seen Eagle grips has "coke bottle" style grips for SB's, and I called, and they said they could modify them to fit an RB. The problem is these are $80 grips. I suppose I would pay that, if there was no other option. But I did read another thread on here, in which someone stated that you can fit Pachmayr's presentation grip on an RB. Is this true? And if so, do you need to modify it in anyway?

Also if anybody else knows of any other SB type conversion grips without finger grooves, I would greatly appreciate any information.

Ahrends grips are available these are smooth wood panels with no finger grooves round to square conversion part # 052000063 cost $60.00 which is about average for quality production wood grips (you may find a better deal for these grips elsewhere). Smith & Wesson uses this brand as standard grips on certain factory models. For new manufacture "Coke bottle" grips at the high end of the spectrum check out www.nill-grips.com it is called the "Classic" and will cost $202.80 if ordered direct
 
You are looking for Pachmayr Presentation RB to SB conversion grips if I read your post right. You should be able to pick them up used for $10.00 or close to it. The finger groove Pachmayrs are the Gripper series. I have RB Compac grips without finger grooves on my RB K frames.
 
Fitting SB pachys to RB

So is it possible to fit the SB presentation grips to an RB?
What do you have to do to modify them if you do put
them on?
 
To bad you don't like the Houge grips just got mine in the mail.RB to Sb for Model 10 $15 and change.Myself I think they are one of the most comfortable grips going,have on all my revolvers so no matter what gun the grip will seem the same :)
