I am trying to get an old Forehand and Wadsworth Bulldog revolver up and running. Can any one supply me with pictures of the cylinder stop spring and the hand and hand spring, all I have left is 2 little spring stubs.
Thanks
Tim

I think the cylinder stop was made as part of the trigger, and didn't have a spring, except for the trigger and hand. Their large frame models, which are different, used a V type mainspring, which worked the cylinder hand and trigger similar to a Colt. They may have used that on the Bulldog, too, but I don't have a diagram of that pistol. Numrich only has a few parts for them, and no diagram.

Hopkins & Allen made the F&W guns for some time, after 1902, since H&A bought them out. One might find something similar with them.

Cornell Publications reprints a few of their catalogs, including the H&A for 1902. Some of these old catalogs had a parts list, and diagrams.
