First off, I would like to thank everone for their help on my Sauer and Sohn shotgun. This is another gun I have received. On the receiver is stamped Springfield Armory 1892. Serial # is 2676xx. Gun is in beutiful condition withthe exception of some discoloration on the shiny bits. Could someone tell me the date of manufacture/approximate value?

Thanks in advance!

The illustrated rifle is a US Krag Jorgensen, model of 1898, made somewhere between 1899 and 1903.

It has been completely sporterized and the dollar value is much lower than if it had been left in original military configuration. Original caliber was .30 Army (.30-40 Krag) and it is difficult to do a caliber conversion on a Krag so it probably still is.
