Hi,

I have 2 questions....

Did Springfield discontinue the XD-M 9mm 4.5"? Also, can the optional 10 round magazines for the XD-M 9mm 4.5" fit the XDm Elite 9mm 4.5"?

Springfield's discontinued a lot of the XD line. On their website now the XDM (not Elite) is strictly .45 and 10mm.

(XD is strictly 9mm, in the older style (non Mod. 2), subcompact and service size only.)

Also, can the optional 10 round magazines for the XD-M 9mm 4.5" fit the XDm Elite 9mm 4.5"?

"Probably". I'd say, ask Springfield.

SA tried to optimize the cartridge stack geometry when they brought out the XDM line, so I can't see them mucking with that. The new mags would be longer, and so you'd need a spacer (or be careful with forceful insertion) to protect the ejector.

not sure. I checked at some point in the last few months looking for something, and they'd pruned the lineup.

I suspect variations on the Hellcat (itself based on the XDS) is going to be where SA takes the brand.
